Stoke Space secured $1 billion in Series E funding to develop a fully reusable rocket system with active liquid hydrogen cooling, aiming to compete with SpaceX. The company plans to launch its Nova Pathfinder in 2027 and a larger Nova Block 2 rocket by 2029, targeting 15 metric tons payload capacity to low-Earth orbit.

Stoke has "completed the initial closing" of a $1B Series E round intended to help it reach orbit and prepare a new, larger rocket for operations.
