Tesla Secures $30 Billion in Credit Lines to Scale Cybercab and Optimus Projects
Tesla has secured $30 billion in credit lines through Citibank and Wells Fargo to support scaling of its Cybercab robotaxi, Optimus robot, and Tesla Semi. The funding includes a $20 billion three-year term loan and $10 billion in revolving credit facilities, with no immediate drawdown planned for 2026.
The company says it won't draw on the new debt facilities this year, as it has already planned at least $25 billion in capital expenditures.
