Science Corporation's PRIMA Vision-Chip Receives EU Medical Device Approval

Science Corporation's PRIMA vision-restoring chip has received EU regulatory approval for treating age-related macular degeneration. The device, which uses a retinal implant and camera glasses, also secured an FDA expedited review designation for rare blindness conditions.

"The thing that the space needs is a company making $100 million a year of revenue," Science Corp. CEO Max Hodak said.
